Summer, Winter, Autumn & Spring Styles
With the top Fashion Weeks already over, we have noticed many a trend hit the runway for the coming season of spring and summer in 2017 and we are certainly excited. Whether sport blogs we are looking at Simone Rocha, David Koma, Ashley Williams or a ton more designers, one huge look that has made it onto the runway as a well-known spring 2017 trend is the puffed up sleeves that come in jackets, dresses, shirts and even off the shoulder designs.
Whether we are looking at really short dresses on Marc Jacobs or shiny blush colored midis scrunched up at Sies Marjan, the velvet creations are undoubtedly a favorite, even if they are not as prominent for the spring season as they have generally been for the fall and winter.
We’ve been seeing longer skirts for a while now and the mid-lengths are certainly a top trend on the spring 2017 runways, but it is the minis that we are surprised to see appearing so often as well, some of them almost ranging to micros with the shortness of the hems we notice.
It looks incredible in sunshine yellow at Emilio Pucci , particularly on the gorgeous shirtdress that appears, while it certainly is a trend to pair with when we give those sleeves the crazy voluminous puffs, something everyone from Jil Sander to Wunderkind have pegged down perfectly.
There has been an interesting trend surfacing of late where prairie pioneer looks have been modernized, recreated and brought to the Fashion Week runways beautifully done up. It is all about the delicate, the feminine and the dashing charm that is available only through the prairie chic.
